PSALM 69: 1-21; 29-36.

1 SAVE me, O God: for the waters are come in unto my soul.

2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3 I am weary of my crying; my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty; then I restored that which I took not away.

5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness: and my sins are not hid from thee.

6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach: shame hath covered my face.

8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren: and an alien unto my mother's children.

9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon

VENITE, EXULTEMUS DOMINO.

COME, let us sing unto the Lord: let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation.

Let us come before His Presence with thanksgiving: and show ourselves glad in Him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God: and a great King above all gods.

In His hand are all the corners of the earth: and the strength of the hills is His also.

The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands prepared the dry land.

O come, let us worship and fall down: and kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For He is the Lord our God: and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: let the whole earth stand in awe of Him.

For He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: and with righteousness to judge the world, and the people with His truth.

JUBILATE DEO.

OBE joyful in the Lord, all ye lands: serve the Lord with gladness, and come before His Presence with a song.

Be ye sure that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves: we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

O go your way into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and speak good of His Name.

For the Lord is gracious, His mercy is everlasting: and His truth endureth from generation to generation.

I

WAS glad when they said unto me: Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Our feet shall stand within thy gates: O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city: that is compact together:

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the Name of the Lord.

For there are set thrones of judgment: the thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Peace be within thy walls: and prosperity within thy palaces.

For my brethren and companions' sakes: I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Because of the house of the Lord our God: I will seek thy good.
