The Uehling Family, 1627-2002Gateway Press, 2002 - 849 Seiten Frederick Uehling was born in 1816 in Waldfisch, Germany. His father was Johann Caspar Uehling. He married Anna Margaretha Krug in 1836. They had twelve children. They emigrated in 1847 and settled in Richwood, Wisconsin. Several other Uehling families from the same area in Germany emigrated over the next forty years. They settled mainly in Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado and California. |
