SHOWING THE PAPERS READ BY EACH.

Part I gives an account specially of the Papers which were printed :-Part II of those which were read. Of these latter, some were printed in extenso, some were abridged, and some wholly omitted. In Volume VII, the Transactions were for the first time separated from the Proceedings, and the latter were on that occasion separately paged with an asterisk. (See CLEMENTS.) The same mark, prefixed to the title of a Paper indicates that the Title only is recorded in the volume. (See Aspland.)

In a few instances, the title of a Paper was given in the Proceedings of the Session to which it belonged, and the Paper itself was printed in a subsequent volume. It is therefore noticed twice; and the word "Transactions" precedes the reference to the full Memoir. (See DAWSON.)
