29 Car quelques-uns pensoient, que comme Judas avoit la bourse, Jésus lui avoit voulu dire: Achète ce qu'il nous faut pour la fête ; ou, qu'il donnât quelque chose aux pauvres.

30 Après donc que Judas eut pris le morceau, il sortit tout aussitôt. Or il étoit nuit.

31 Quand il fut sorti, Jésus dit: Maintenant le Fils de l'homme est glorifié, et Dieu est glorifié par lui.

32 Et si Dieu est glorifié par lui, Dieu lui-même aussi le glorifiera, et il le glorifiera

33 Mes petits enfans, je suis encore avec vous pour un peu de tems; vous me chercherez, et comme je l'ai dit aux Juifs, je vous le dis aussi maintenant, vous ne pouvez venir où je vais.

34 Je vous donne un commandement nouveau, que vous vous aimiez les uns les autres; que comme je vous ai aimés, vous vous aimiez aussi les uns les autres.

35 C'est à cela que tous connoîtront que vous êtes mes disciples, si vous avez de l'amour les les autres.

36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, Whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now?

2 Il y a plusieurs demeures dans la maison de mon Père; si cela n'étoit pas, je vous l'aurois dit: Je m'en vais vous préparer le lieu.

4 Et vous savez où je vais, et vous en savez le chemin.

5 Thomas lui dit: Seigneur, nous ne savons où tu vas; et comment pourrions-nous en savoir le chemin.

6 Jésus lui dit: Je suis le chemin, la vérité, et la vie; personne ne vient au Père que par moi.

7 Si vous me connoissiez, vous connoîtriez aussi mon Père; et dès à présent vous le connoissez, et vous l'avez vu.

8 Philippe lui dit: Seigneur, montre-nous le Père, et cela nous suffit.

9 Jésus lui répondit: Il y a si long-tems que je suis avec vous, et tu ne m'as pas connu ! Philippe, celui qui m'a vu, a vu mon Père. Comment donc distu: Montre-nous le Père ?

18 Je ne vous laisserai point orphelins; je viendrai à vous.

10 Believest not thou that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father, that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

26 Mais le Consolateur, qui est le Saint-Esprit, que mon Père enverra en mon nom, vous enseignera toutes choses, et Vous remettra en mémoire toutes celles que je vous ai dites.

27 Je vous laisse la paix; je vous donne ma paix; je ne vous ·la donne pas comme le monde la donne. Que votre coeur ne se trouble point, et ne craignez point.

28 Vouz avez entendu que je vous ai dit: Je m'en vais, et je reviens à vous. Si vous m'aimiez, vous vous réjouiriez de ce que j'ai dit: Je m'en vais à mon Père; car mon père est plus grand que moi.

29 Et je vous le dis maintenant avant que la chose arrive; afin que, quand elle sera arrivée, vous eroviez.

30 Je ne vous parlerai plus guère; car le prince de ce monde vient, mais il n'a rien en moi.

31 Mais c'est afin que le monde connoisse que j'aime mon Père,

3 Vous êtes déja nets, à cause de la parole que je vous ai annoncée.

4 Demeurez en moi, et moi je demeurerai en vous. Comme le sarment ne sauroit de lui-même porter du fruit, s'il ne demeure attaché au cep, vous n'en pouvez porter aussi, si vous ne demeurez en moi.

5 Je suis le Cep, et vous en êtes les sarmens. Celui qui demeure en moi, et en qui je demeure, porte beaucoup de fruit; car hors de moi vous ne pouvez rien faire.

6 Si quelqu'un ne demeure pas en moi, il sera jeté dehors comme le sarment; il sèche, puis on le ramasse, et on le jette au feu, et il brûle.

7 Si vous demeurez en moi, et que mes paroles demeurent en vous, demandez tout се que vous voudrez, et il vous sera accordé.

8 C'est en ceci que mon Père sera glorifié, si vous portez beaucoup de fruit, et alors vous serez mes disciples.
