4 There fhall we fee his face,

And never, never, fin;

There from the rivers of his

Drink endless pleasures in.

5 Yes, and before we go

To that immortal state,

grace

The thought of what we are to know
Should conftant joy create.

6 The fons of God have found
Glory begun below;

Celestial fruits on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow.

Then let our forrows ceafe,

And every tear be dry;

We are travelling thro' the paths of peace

To fairer worlds on high.

PSALM V.

Works and word of God.

BEHOLD! the lofty sky

Declares its builder God,

And all the starry worlds on high
Proclaim his power abroad.

PSALM VI.

Excellency of the gospel.

BEHOLD the morning fun.

Begin his glorious way;

His beams thro' all the nations run,
And life and light convey.

2 But where the gospel comes
It spreads diviner light;

It calls dead finners from their tombs,
And gives the blind their fight.

3 How perfect is thy word,
And all thy judgments juft!
For ever sure thy promife, Lord,
And men fecurely trust.

4 My gracious God, how plain
Are thy directions given!

Oh may I never read in vain,
But keep the path to heaven!

5 While with my heart and tongue
I worship in thy fear;

The grateful tho' imperfect fong

My God and Father hear.

PSALM VII.

God our Shepherd.

THE Lord our shepherd is, We shall be well supply'd; Since he is ours and we are his, What can we wifh befide?

He leads us to the place

Where heavenly pasture grows, Where living waters gently pass, And full falvation flows.

Tho' from his fold we ftray,
He doth our steps restore,

And guides us in his own fafe way

That we may err no more.

4 While he affords his aid

We will not yield to fear;

Tho' we should walk thro' death's dark shade,
Our fhepherd's with us there.

5 He guards us from our foes;
His hand our table spreads;
Our cup with bleffings overflows;
And joy exalts our heads.
