To Edward Threlkeld, my coosen Michaell Threlkeld sonne, of Brestowe, ten pounds, to bind him prentice. Codicil, 30 Aug., 1588. Unto William, sone to my brother Thomas Threlfeld by his second wife, all my interest in lands, with the baylewick of Burghe, in the County of Cumberland, in tenure of my said brother Thomas. The lease of Home Cultram shall be renewed by my brother

To my wyffe all landes within the parishe of Mexboroughe and elles where within the County of Yorke, and messuage at Powles gatt in London. Sonne Roberte Trappes. *He was son of Robert Trappes, also a goldsmith in London. He married secondly Anne, sole daughter and heiress of Robert Byrnand, of Knaresborough. His son added that name to his own, was knighted, and became of Nidd, where the family continued for many generations. Though that property has been sold, there are still descendants living in Lancashire. (See Foster's Lancashire Families.)
