His lordfhip, who had gone out to take his morning's walk in the park, and did not return at his ufual hour, was found by his fervants in a narrow well, nothing appearing above water but the feet and legs, occafioned, as it is imagined, by his over-reaching himself in order to fave the life of a favourite dog, who was found in the well with him, ftanding on his lordship's feet.
