Ending with solutions and scriptures taught these women the reason for their being. Deanetta Thompson retired from the United States Army after serving twenty years active duty. She is a Graduate of Regions University (formally Southern Christian University) receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies and "The Military Scholar Award" for maintaining an excellent academic record and is pursuing a Master of Science Degree towards Management at Liberty University. She has deployed three times during her military career; Operation Desert Shield - Desert Storm, Operation Uphold Democracy (Haiti) and Tikrit Iraq. Deanetta Thompson highest military award achieved is "The Bronze Star Medal" while assigned as the Senior Food Operations Non Commissioned Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Through out her experience she has learned there are some issues society dare not to talk about. She is an aspiring writer and Psalmist who loves to sing, praise and worship songs for the Lord. Deanetta Thompson is married with two children now residing in Washington State.
