* Siôn Dafydd Lâs, is said to have been a native of Cefn-gwyn Llan-uwchllyn, in the district of PENLLYN, Merionethshire; and flourished about 1690. -He was an archetype of the ancient Bards, both a Foet and Harper of some eminence, and was retained in that capacity by Hugh Nanney, Esq. of Nann v.
