Another "problem play" from Uncle Bill, this time derived from both Chaucer and Homer. Lots of broad comedy, mostly at the expense of the fickle Cressida, lots of battle scenes, and an unusual variant on the traditional "fool" by adding the character of a "cynic" who heaps abuse on nearly everyone else in the play.
