Okay, this book is not FUN to read, and yes I HAD to read it for my American Diplomatic History class-but the facts I learned about what our country and its leaders were doing during this time period really astounded me. It is a fascinating read-it has a slow pace, but if you're even just remotely curious about this time period then you can get caught up in the audacity of American leaders at this point in our history.
